Had a good trip -- short but quite nice. The next few days will be awfully hectic; so will post probably after that...
... to Thailand for my vacation and will be back on 29th (inshallah). Hopefully will take good photos and will have loads of fun!
In my country, the new moon that would be signifying the end of Ramadan and the Eid celebrations on the following day hasn't been sighted -- so that means tomorrow isn't going to be Eid.
This moon sighting thing always baffles me -- I mean how can there be whole days of difference in moon sighting (and therefore, Eid) between places that are only hours apart in terms of time?
Anyways -- what it boils down to is that we'll have to fly for our vacation in Thailand ON EID DAY itself. That's pretty sad because what's the Eid fun if not shared with families and going to friends' places?
What are your plans for the weekend?
I have a loooong weekend -- thanks to my Eid holidays -- and just after the day after Eid, I'm going to Thailand!!!! Yaaaay!!!
