What kind of camera(s) do you own?
I have a Panasonic Lumix FZ-20 that I bought en-route to Langkawi, Malaysia where we had our honeymoon. It's one of those 'bridge' or 'prosumer' cameras that look and feel like a DSLR but are actually advanced digital cameras.
Before this, I had an Olympus UZ-C720. That was also an ultrazoom.. bought in 2002...
And my first camera was the fully mechanical SLR Asahi Pentax SV.. inherited from my grandfather -- older than me!

My homepage are set to Netvibes and 30boxes. Both are sites that I really like. Particularly I think netvibes is one of the best aggregator sites ever and 30boxes is really really good at what it does -- it's not just a calendar app but rather a lot more if you can fine-tune it...
Other than that.. my LJ friends page, facebook and of course, Vox...
What's that secret dream job you've always believed you'd be good at, but never gone for?

Ah.. if I had that job... I wouldn't feel like I was working at all!!
When was the last time you interacted with any sort of wildlife?

This was 2-3 weeks back.. You can't actually see the tiger... but trust me they were there. This is Sanjay Gandhi National Park -- inside Mumbai itself, where you can take a small safari inside a cage-like mini bus to see the tigers and lions roaming around. They have a white tiger too!
What's some good advice you've given to a friend, but not followed yourself?

I've always been fascinated by the story of phoenix. In my own life also, have always counted upon my own inner strength to pull myself up in times of trouble -- and so far, alhamdulillah, it has never disappointed me.
A lot of my web stuff is taken from U2 lyrics, which never fail to amaze me. Though I'm not as ardent a follower of their music (read that as crazy fan) as I was in my younger years, their music still populates my playlists. I always admire the intensity in their lyrics and this one was taken from a (sort of obscure) song of theirs called Hawkmoon 269.
I have an alternate screen name which I sometimes use when I find that my screen name/username has been already taken. It's actually describes a crawling insect that also carries a venomous sting, a creature that depicts my sun sign. It was made in a quick attempt to come up with an obscure enough screen name and does not reflect my views on astrology!!!
